I've been waiting to show photos of this sweater since MAY!!! It is now up for public consumption in the Fall issue of Knitty. I feel particularly special because I think this issue of Knitty is AWESOME!
Congrats on Neiman. It's fab, I love an asymmetrical motif and that neckline is so fresh (yet classic). Do you think I could sub Calmer for the Wool Cotton?

Congratulations! The sweater is gloriously beautiful, I love the shape of the neckline, the length of the sleeves, and of course the pattern in the yoke.
Hi, I love this sweater but I hate knitting cotton blends at a tight gauge. I hope this isn't a stupid question but could I just knit it at the recommended gauge or is there a reason why it would look rubbish?
Thanks for the comments, everyone! To answer your question, Mooncalf, there is absolutely no reason you can't substitute a wool yarn and achieve the same effect, as long as it's got a rather tight twist and matte sheen.
Hello Darling ~ Your Neiman pattern is lovely. Looking forward to your class at Yarns In The Farms this Fall! Maybe the Neiman for the Spring????? See you soon. XXOO Wink & Tink
