I saw your new patter on Knitty "Tempest". Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the way you used the striping to accentuate the waist. It's quite lovely and I just know my daughters are going to start harrassing me for one. (I should just make them do it, right?;-)
I *love* this sweater! I've been looking for a light weight striped cardi with 3/4 sleeves, and this is absolutely perfect. Thank you! And congrats!! :)
Holy shit Ann, do I ever! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!
It's so weird, I was trolling Ravelry at lunch thinking "I want to find a cute, simple stripey cardi", and lo and behold, here's the PERFECT pattern. It's like you read my mind, man. Freaky!
Yey! Love it, first because it is a super cute pattern, second because the yarn rocks, and third because it is going to look great linked to our blog. :P
It's been a long, long time since I've knit something, but this sweater pattern has me thinking my knitting hiatus is over. Terrific looking garment and I can't wait to make it! :-)

Love it and am about to knit it with Indigo Moon wool - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOne question - why do you pick up the borders afterwards? Wouldn't it be easier to just knit them in?
Love your patterns and your blog!
I'm really enjoying this pattern. I came to ask a question about the sleeve decreases, but I just figured it out. Thanks!
