It's here.

White Whale Vol. 1. A concept that became some sketches and a bunch of yarn, then some garments, then a book with photos and illustrations and quotes from Melville.

You can buy it now: $22 for both the print book and pdf (plus shipping)

$12 for just the pdf

The pdf contains all the patterns and pattern information that is in the print book, but does not include Matt Kish's incredible illustrations.

Concept to book. It's magic. I'll be posting more about the individual patterns and their inspirations over the next two weeks as I decompress.

Wow. Truly spectacular. And the photos are fantastic. That cowl is fantastic, and so is the white sweater, and the shawl. Who am I kidding, they are all amazing.

Beautiful designs!! Love that back detail, the lovely wrap and the chunky cardigan. Cool, different, and wearable. Am sure the book will be a success.

And I love the photos of you in the water -- hope it was a warm day :-)!!

It's hard to express how much I love this idea and your execution. I can't wait to see the full book. And you are hardcore, lady, doing all those semi-submerged photo shoots!

Dear GOD. Ann Weaver, you are a genius! I am sitting here looking at my gorgeous copy and I am blown away. Beautiful designs, beautiful layout and graphic design, beautiful everything. The Weaver family (plus Matt Kisch) are brilliant.
