I've been making other things, too, mainly from other peoples' patterns, with the aim of bettering my skilz and learning new ones. Here's a taste: Crochet!
This is the Crochet Fan Bookmark, made large with a size K crochet hook and one, that's right just ONE skein of Noro Taiyo. I like it worn with other patterns (duh), including this Russian sailor's jersey purchased at an army surplus store in Finland.

The crochet is extremely pretty with those changing colours, perfect mesh of pattern and yarn : )
